Missing brothers' bodies found in mom's trunk
Boys, ages 8 and 11, had been missing for about four hours

LONDON, Ky. - The bodies of two young brothers were found in the trunk of their mother's car about four hours after they were reported missing, state police said Sunday.

The two boys were ages 8 and 11.

Their grandparents called police Saturday to say they had not seen their grandsons for about three hours, said Laurel County Coroner Doug Bowling.

The bodies were found in the trunk of a car at their mother's home, about two miles south of London in eastern Kentucky, Bowling said. He said the mother was at home at the time.

Bowling said a state medical examiner was performing autopsies on the bodies Sunday. He declined to say if the bodies showed any sign of physical trauma.

State police were investigating. No one had been arrested Sunday.

Police did not identify the boys or their mother.

Is london close to Lexington or Murpheysburo(sp?) anywere close to SW VA pretty much or is it on the west side somewere, I know the name just can't picutre the spot on the map.

Used to go by London all the time on my way to Lexington to pick up my boys when they lived there. You go through Lee County to Middlesboro, then through Pineville and Barboursville, then to Corbin. Take I-75 North in Corbin and you come to London in about 10-15 minutes.
